Fusion 360 Scale Entire Model

How to Scale a Model Entirely in Fusion 360
Are you looking for a quick and easy way to resize a model in Fusion 360? Maybe you’ve got a prototype you want to enlarge, or maybe you’re just looking to tweak the size of a design. Whatever the case, Fusion 360 has a feature that makes it incredibly easy to scale models. This tutorial will teach you how to scale a model entirely in Fusion 360.
Step 1: Select the Model
The first step is to select the model you want to scale. In the Fusion 360 Design tab, find the model you want to scale in the browser tree. Select the model, then right-click and choose ‘Scale’ from the menu. This will launch the Scale tool.
Step 2: Scale the Model
Once the Scale tool is launched, you will be presented with a few scaling options. You can choose to scale the model by a certain percentage, or you can enter an exact size you want the model to be. You can also choose to scale the model using a set of parameters, like the width, height, and depth. Choose the scaling option that works best for your model.
Step 3: Adjust the Origin
Once you’ve chosen the scaling option you want to use, you can adjust the origin of the scaling tool. This origin point is where the scaling tool will start scaling the model from. By default, the origin point is set to the center of the model. If you want to change this, you can drag the origin point to any location on the model.
Step 4: Apply the Scaling
Once you’ve chosen the scaling option and adjusted the origin point, you’re ready to apply the scaling. To do this, click the ‘Apply’ button. This will apply the scaling to the model. You can then use the ‘Preview’ button to see how the model will look after it’s scaled.
Step 5: Adjust the Parameters
If you’re scaling the model using parameters, you can adjust the parameters to get the exact size you want. To do this, select the parameter you want to adjust in the ‘Parameters’ panel. Then, enter the value you want the parameter to be. You can adjust as many parameters as you want, until you get the size you desire.
Step 6: Confirm the Scaling
Once you’ve adjusted the parameters and are happy with the size of the model, you’re ready to apply the scaling. To do this, click the ‘Confirm’ button. This will apply the scaling to the model, and you’ll see the model in its new size. You can then adjust the model further, or save it for later.
